The National Jury of Elections (JNE) signed an interinstitutional
cooperation agreement to promote the labor market inclusion of young people
with different abilities from the Ann Sullivan Center of Peru in a ceremony
held at its head office.
"This agreement is unique because two students of CASP will be our
coworkers at the National Jury of Elections,” said Dr. Francisco Tavara Córdova,
president of this constitutional organism.
This agreement states that two young students with different abilities
from CASP will soon be incorporated to work in the electoral organism, and the
Supported Employment Program of CASP will be implemented at the JNE.
Dr. Liliana Mayo, founder and general director of the Ann Sullivan
Center of Peru, expressed that it is a historic day for CASP because young
people with different abilities will be able to show their value as human
beings and workers.
In addition, she added that this initiative of the JNE should be spread
all over the world so that these kinds of electoral organisms in other
countries follow the suit. "The National Jury of Elections has a big heart,"
he said.
