CASP students worked during the Anniversary of Microsoft Perú

10 full inclusion and partial inclusion students of Centro Ann Sullivan del Perú were the perfect hosts during the fifteenth anniversary of Microsoft Peru, held on Thursday 5 November 2009 at the Country Club Hotel in San Isidro.

During the event, students received guests on their arrival, showed kindness to them and escorted them to different rooms, especially to the social responsibility module where those present received information about activities that Microsoft Peru does to benefit the community.

The Conference-Workshop "School Inclusion: What we must take into account" trained more than 700 participants in Peru and other parts of the world

The 5th Conference -Workshop 2009 entitled ‘School Inclusion: What we must take into account’ was held on Saturday morning, October 24th. It was in charge of Dr. Elena Lazarte, Director of Inclusion Area, and Shirley Marroquin, specialist of CASP.

The conference was broadcast via Elluminate Live, which allowed us to use slide presentations and load videos onto the whiteboard, and to answer questions from different sites at the same time in order to train them in advances made in education so people with different abilities may become independent, productive and happy.

Testimonies heard during this conference showed that people with different abilities may become active and valued members of our society, if they are included in all situations of life - at home and in the community.

The session training was very well attendee in each city connected using the Elluminate technology. More than 700 participants between professionals and families of people with different abilities (those with physical, cognitive and behavioral limitations) located in 21 cities of 13 departments of Perú and 14 cities from Latin American countries and Europe received free training.
