Students from the Centro Ann Sullivan del Perú (CASP) had an innovative experience of simulated flight with the support of Delta Air Lines

A flight simulation, which transported 24 students from the Ann Sullivan Center to New York city, was carried out on Thursday December 5, 2013.  This event was fully supported by Delta Air Lines.

Delta Air Lines is committed to supporting initiatives from many organizations that are focused on improving the health and well-being of other people, hoping to have an impact on the lives of people around the world.

The activity, with the support of Delta representative Delia Ortega and her adviser team, was carried out at CASP facilities. The objective of this activity was to get students taking part in the simulation to learn the flight sequence in an aircraft so that they can be ready to have this flying experience. They were taught to follow instructions, wait for their turn to be assisted, give their personal detail (name, surname, age, address), identify their seat number and know how to interact with flight attendants.

It is important to indicate that the Ann Sullivan of Peru (CASP) teaches people with different abilities to function in an independent way so that they become independent, productive and happy people.
