CASP Consultant and worldwide
renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Linda Lawrence visited us during the week of the 3rd
to March7th. Her visit was
principally oriented toward the training, through sharing and transmitting her
vast experience to Peruvian Ophthalmologists from the “Instituto Damos Visión”,
which is directed by Peruvian Ophthalmologist Dr. Luz Gordillo, in the visual attention
toward patients with different abilities in our country.
She was happy to visit CASP and
observe some of our students in their classrooms, looking forward to continue
visual evaluations toward new students as well as their follow-up for others
during this 2014.
It is important to mention that
Dr. Lawrence has been recognized with many international awards for her humanitarian
work in several countries around the world. She uses clear and simple language
as well as several methods to identify when a person with different abilities
has visual difficulties, thus helping to avoid more problems in their learning
process this way.
